Evolution, the Fish and the Bear

A thought occurred to me the other day in regards to those trying to protect animals from extinction…and of course, we are to blame.

If, as evolutionists say, species survive and become stronger through natural selection and adaptation to hardship like temporary change, aren’t they interfering with natural selection and evolution by artificially protecting species?

We know that 98% of all species are already extinct (with us not being around) but those who survived did so out of hardship & stress.

Now while I really do not want to see any creature go extinct, really, when you think about it- those animals protected now- their descendents Might actually end up being weaker because they are not stressed as they are artificially protected.

If they are meant to survive- they will adapt- people or no people and their descendents will be a lot stronger because of it.
If evolution science is real- as many believe- there was no one back there to protect the human ancestor…if it hadn’t been for extinction….we would not be here…right?

Of course, I believe in creation…but I am just saying. If evolution is true, protecting a species interferes with natural selection and evolution does it not?

We should be good stewards of what we dominate…of course. But no where in the bible does a fish have priority over a human.
The fish- that poor little fish that’s causing all the trouble in California…right… we as humans should be caring more for the humans… not the fish.

We are not evil in wanting water so we can grow food. Man was given dominion over the land and animals to rule over them.
So-if that fish is meant to survive- it will adapt to the water needs of the humans who need the water just as much as the fish 2 live.
Think about it. How did a bear get to survive in the arctic to begin with? There are bears all over the place and well in each case the bear had to adapt to its environment.

The earth has been warming and cooling in cycles for thousands upon thousands of years or more…depends on how old you think the Earth is.

Now while I do think the Polar Bear is a cool looking bear…it is either thriving or close to extinction depending on what study you read.

Human kind is not the villain. Weather is just way too complex for us to really have any serious impact on it.

But oh no– it is the cows fault anyway. So we should all stop eating meat and become vegetarians.
More ‘green house gasses’ are put into the air from cattle than we do from cars and our factories.

If we all stopped using cattle tomorrow- would it make a one bit of difference? Probably not as Cattle have been around as long as we have.

In fact, I dare speculate there are probably less cattle around than in the past as we humans do use a lot of land where their ancestors used to graze.

All of this came out of one little thought I had the other day about evolution and that fish in California. It is a ridiculous argument from those who say we people are to blame for everything.

Unless those who want to artificially protect all animals and stop evolution- keep them all from going extinct, want us to go extinct instead.

Yes, there are some people who actually do want that.

So I would say to all who do believe in Natural selection and evolution to stop interfering with that by stopping creatures from adapting. If a fish or polar bear is meant to survive- it will find a way and adapt…plain and simple. Is not that what natural selection and evolution says- The strongest will survive.

None of this means that we as humans should not be good stewards of what we have been given dominion over. This is all just something to think about and consider.

What is a self- avowed Communist and 9-11 truther doing in the current administration as an advisor to President Obama and even more so, does our President actually agree with what this man believes? It is truly scary.

VAN JONES: This movement is deeper than a solar panel, deeper than a solar panel. Don’t stop there. Don’t stop there. No, we are going to change the whole system. We’re going to change the whole thing.

He wants to change our whole system? I like our current system just fine thank you very much. I do not want to live in a socialist country. I do not want Government deciding everything for me. I believe in the free market system as that is what helped make our country what it is!

VAN JONES: And this won’t we have to prepare for this to be a long process even though it probably won’t be. We have to prepare ourselves. We can’t just push the people. We can push for (inaudible), but the people it must be a dance, you know. We have to listen, listen, listen, listen. And then learn. And then co lead, try to coauthor a different future with folks. And we have to assume that’s going to take a long time, but sometimes what should have taken another 20 years, Barack Hussein Obama, can take a season.

It does seem to me like something very evil is being pushed through. It is certainly not normal for so many huge bills to be considered, voted on and tried to be showed through the congress so fast ever! It is like- Ok, let’s pass this bill before the people have a chance to see what it is really about. The people will not read it, after all. Well they were wrong about that part. More citizens have read those huge bills while those in congress have not. Very sad don’t you think.

The more I learn about this man Van Jones, the more fearful I get. What on earth is going on with our country? This man was radical for many years and somehow the FBI missed this or perhaps they did not look or perhaps…he was not even screened and just slipped in as a Presidential Advisor under the radar.

I know a revolution is brewing as more as more people wake up. Unless the current administration changes its radical course and it can start by firing this Van Jones, there will be big trouble come next election.

An Open Letter to the Legislators of the United States of America

Do you know who you are? I certainly hope so because you stand at the intersection of freedom and control and it is you who have the responsibility to assist in making the decisions that will determine the highway this country will travel. It is your voice that will cry out from the capital; follow me to freedom or cower with me in the corner as choice is slowly ripped from the heart of a country and its people are held captive by those who thirst for power denies its subjects free will.

You know exactly what I am talking about. You are old enough to remember when freedom was a prized possession and you have watched as a citizen and participated as a legislator as this country has gradually unburdened itself from the price of freedom in exchange for a free ride. Only the ride isn’t really free, it simply seems without price to those who are unwilling to act in any other way than to scavenge after selfishness. Such people are easily satisfied and easily led into the chains of control.

Fortunately most Americans know well the burden of freedom and are willing to pay the price for themselves and even for those who are unwilling to pay it at all. Freedom’s price is to stand up and be counted as one who loves liberty and abhors the cunning craftiness of those whose design is to destroy and defeat the ability to make choices thereby stealing from all of us the responsibility to be held accountable. If the price is not paid by its citizens the United States of America becomes the country, we as children, were taught to fear.

Today the debate rages about health care, but the issue is not really about health care, that is merely the cloak de jour in which the issue is wrapped, yesterday it was dressed in stimulus money, tomorrow it will wear the clothing of cap and trade; the issue is about freedom and you can feel it in your soul. You have seen both political parties, over the years, legislate away the ability to make choices and we as a people have stood by and allowed it as you in the legislature have participated in wrapping morsels of food in layers of garbage and calling it good.

Now in the streets and in town halls across America you see men and women who are starving because of the actions of legislators; they are starving for freedom and they are fighting back against those who seek to blind their minds, chain their hopes, and control their ability to choose. These are people who when called upon to sacrifice will do so willingly. These are men and women who want to trust you to stand up and to be able to sacrifice your own self interest for the freedom of your fellow citizens and the liberty of our nation.

Do you know who you are? If what has been said rings true in your heart then you are a patriot and you have a job to do and we expect you to do it correctly. You must choose freedom and you must stand against what you feel in your soul is wrong even if it’s dressed in the fashions of the hour and solicits your company or rewards your ambition. If you find what has been said to be repulsive then you are either drunk with your own power or you are a coward willing to be controlled by those who seek to destroy us. We will be watching and praying for you to make correct choices based upon correct principles which will then allow us to properly govern ourselves. We are Americans. Who are you?

Global Warming

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth. Now whether you believe the Earth is billions of years old or less then 7,000 there is one thing we can all agree upon. Through its history, the Earth has undergone many fluctuations in climate ranging from a frigid Ice-cold snowball Earth to a hot steamy tropical jungle like Earth. Most of these changes happened before the industrial revolution where man and his technology really took a leap forward for the better or the worst.

In recent years, there has been a movement among some that want to claim the recent fluctuation in Earth’s temperature is caused solely by man’s activity on the planet. Now while I can agree we have had a little impact, just too much data says otherwise. To me all this scare tactic about global warming is just that to scare people so we change our lives and technology, which will in the end, just make a few people and companies very rich.

More scientists agree than not that Global warming is not caused by man…that this whatever we are going through is just a natural warming period as we bounce back from the last ice age and head toward the next. Weather on the Earth is just way too complex for anyone to say for certain we can predict this or that in the future. At best, from what I learned in Earth Sciences, is that even with the nest weather tools we can only be at most 75% accurate. So how can anyone say with certainty what things will be, like in one, three, five or ten years? They cannot.

Even if we do change everything in the Western countries, those countries like China and the 3rd world are pouring out far more pollutants than we are so what is our little bit going to do… Nothing.

Why am I ranting about this today? Because the congress just passed the Cap and trade bill, which regulates how much carbon and green house gasses companies can put out. What does this mean? If the Senate passes this bill, it means higher electricity prices for all and I mean all including the people who can afford it the least- the poor.

Iran election

“First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win.” Gandhi

“The world is watching. And we stand behind those who are seeking justice in a peaceful way.” Pres Obama.

It took him almost a week to do what any other president would have done the first day. In all our history, the US has always declared our support for anyone in any country who fights for freedom and democracy. Since last week’s election, many of the citizens of Iran have been protesting what they see as an obvious fraud. According to some of the elections results I have seen, the current president and dictator of Iran, Ahmadinejad, did not win even though he claims he did. He proclaimed himself victor when less than 20% of the vote had been counted. Now how is that possible?

Today I am happy to say that our congress did the right thing and by a near unanimous vote, they passed a resolution supporting those who are protesting the outcome of the election. The Iranian government has been brutally harsh and is doing everything they can to squash the uprising. The Iranian Military is firing at the protestors and the government has tossed all foreign media out of the country in addition to trying to shut down all other forms of communication so the world will not see or hear what is going on. However, it is too late, as we do know what is going on.

Iranian government was bussing supporters to Tehran throughout the night to show support for Ahmadinejad on Friday. This is not a surprise to me as Saddam Hussein did the same. Pay people or do whatever is necessary to have as many people show their support for someone who is truly a dictator. We are not fooled in the least.

I do hope that the people who long for freedom from tyranny in Iran prevail, as that will make the world a whole lot safer place.

Return To The Moon

NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter and Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Spacecraft are on their way to the moon atop the same Atlas V rocket, although they will use vastly different methods to study the lunar environment. LRO will go into orbit around the moon, turning its suite of instruments towards the moon for thorough studies. The spacecraft also will be looking for potential landing sites for astronauts.

LCROSS, on the other hand, will guide an empty upper stage on a collision course with a permanently shaded crater in an effort to kick up evidence of water at the moon’s poles. LCROSS itself will also impact the lunar surface during its course of study.

Liftoff occurred at 5:32 p.m. EDT

It is about time. I am so happy to see this next step in our long over due return to the moon. Of course, since we have been there, we have been to a lot of places, but never with a manned mission.

I believe it was Shepard Smith on Fox News that said they would be looking for one of the lunar rovers- or other landing sites to take pictures…to help further debunk those stupid conspiracies that say we never went there in the first place. As good as Hollywood is, in the 60’s it did not have the technical means to pull off fake missions and to show them live on TV.

Honestly, I do hope that during this mission a little bit of time is spent taking a close-up picture of some of the old sites just to show that yes, the bottom half of the lunar landers and a couple rovers are still there. Our piscture taking ability has advanced so much since then that it should be an easy thing to do. After all, we can see rocks on MARS, asteroids and some of the other moons, so why not our moon.

It will be an exciting mission to follow and conspiracy theorists- stay away!

TIME TO DEMAND OBAMA’S RESIGNATION

Ok now I am mad as hell and I am not going to take it any more. Come on now, what is wrong with our president? He campaigned on a more centrist platform but ever since he has taken office, he has been systematically eroding our defenses and really it seems like he wants to take over everything. They cannot. Obama seems hell bent on controlling everything. His plans will put private business out of business. Oh sure we here, “I don’t want to run this or that,” but history tells us different that when the Government helps any business or institution in a financial way, it is tied there forever in one way or another.

Just think of what is happening with General Motors. The government owns 60% of the company and will make sure they make ‘green cars’ which no one in this country wants. Well, at least the majority of people do not. The deal they put together gives them the most control and the Unions next amount of control and very last are the very people who should have the MOST control and say in the company the Bond and shareholders. They are being ripped off.

Then there is the trickle down effect as every company that does business with GM is losing also as they get a tiny share of the money they are owed. Contracts have been broken and it is a mess. No one will have faith in our companies again if the government can simply come along and say all contracts are invalid.
I could go one about this and I probably will as this never ending Government take over unwinds.

Next, horror of all horrors, Obama gives terrorists ‘right to remain silent’ .FBI ordered to read Miranda warning to U.S. enemies. What in the heck? How on earth are we ever going to get intelligence out of prisoners that way? Terrorists caught in foreign countries are not citizens and should never ever be afforded the same rights as citizens. Hell, when was a prisoner of war ever treated like a crook? Never. This is beyond ridiculous.

I just do not know what to think anymore. This has got to stop before our country is unrecognizable. Even the leading newspaper in Russia warns that we, the US are heading down a path toward communism faster than the Russian Revolution, and we know what the outcome of all that was. Communism, socialism they fail. Not only should we learn from history but just take a look at Europe, especially the UK, what a mess it is in. No one in his or her right mind here should want to take us down the socialist path.

Then more ridiculousness with this taxing farmers who own cattle and pigs? Good grief already. Tax the farmers and the price of Milk, pork and related products will skyrocket and who will be hurt the most? Those who can least afford it, the poor.
