Further Background Information

Christopher Xon and his older brother were both born after the Second Borg War ended with the Borg being scattered in splinter matrices throughout the galaxy. The Collective was no longer, but smaller unimatrices remained afterward. He was born to the officer that destroyed the Collective, Admiral Christopher Sarek Vickers, and his wife (then of nearly 10 years), T’Prae. His older brother pursued a Starfleet career as much as he did, but not until after Earth was terraformed back to its original glory.

Medically, he is fit as the proverbial fiddle, save a strong allergy to most pollens that he inherited from his father, and a staggeringly bad 20/290 vision which he corrects with glasses, as he has not been able to afford optical implants like his father has. He pursued a civilian education first as his father did, not entering into Starfleet Academy until his middle thirties. His father had always maintained that 18 is too young an age to spring for officer, so Brandon, in conjunction with the education, went through the enlisted program, and is now a rear admiral in Starfleet.

His father, however, being the one man to split the Borg Collective into splinter cells, had been escalated into living legend status, now serving as the Vulcan ambassador.

The junior Vickers son is currently seeking a position in Engineering, hopeful of gaining a command of his own some day.
