Born to a lower class family, most of his free time was studying military type skills such as explosives, weapons, et cetera. Background:
Karl was raised effectively an only child, his brother having moved out when Karl was a young kid. His dad was always lecturing him to Karls great distress. Karl grew up with Aspergers, the mildest form of Autisim, endowing him with great concentration, but couldn't focus on anything besides that for long amounts of time. His Aspergers syndrome drove him to study the military as a child. His childhood pastimes included reading college level books for fun, and playing war games.
Little is known of his history between ages 14 and 18 when he disappeared for a time. He has some scars from this time, but refuses to say anything of it.
