Weight: 122lbs
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Hazel
Identifying Marks/Features: None
Basic Personality: However outgoing and sociable Rose may seem, she prefers personal time to herself or with someone one-on-one. Having a laid back demeanor with a joking, fun-loving attitude, for the most part she comes off as too easy on others at times. It’s made her many friends by being laid back but anyone who’s been around her long enough knows she is tough and expects a lot out of those she has under her. But that expectation meets nothing of what she expects of herself. She can be very forgetful and if it wasn’t for those around her she probably would not still have her head on her shoulders.

~History~
Personal History/Background:

Growing up on Earth in the US state of South Carolina, Rose could not complain about her childhood. Both of her parents (and her whole family for that matter) were nothing but loving and supporting. She herself was not so much a troublesome child, but she wasn’t the perfect little angel that one would expect coming out of a family such as she was raised. Her mother, however, blamed it on her best friend Dustin, whom Rose called her brother since she herself did not have any siblings. She and Dustin would cause chaos in various places at various times that suited their fancy. What her parents didn’t know because neither would confess that it had mostly been to some wild idea she came up with.

Her father had been part of Starfleet before Rose was born, he was a science officer like herself. He left the very day her mother had found out she was pregnant. Rose had often questioned him on why he had left because of that but she had always gotten the same response. She always protested it didn’t make sense. “You’ll understand one day.” Was the way he always ended that discussion. But, when she wasn’t talking about that, she would listen to his various stories of things that had happened while he served as an officer aboard ships and starbases. She found the stories unbelievable, but trusted them to be truth as she had never been lied to before. And of course, by now, she has no doubt they happened. The stories told during her childhood were what sparked her interest in getting to where she is today. When she told her parents what she wanted to do, they made sure she had the means to do so. Her graduating year of high school, she wasn’t valedictorian but she had ranked in the top ten percent of the graduating class.

Starfleet History/Background:

Somehow, fresh coming out of the academy, Rose had landed a chief position in the science field on Starbase Zeta, under the command of Admiral Glenn Parker. When she had first arrived, the place was in turmoil. Some sort of invasion or fight had broken out. Leaving her to figure out where to start, but she finally figured it out. How, she could never guess.

After spending a year or so there, Rose had made a few friends but had stuck to herself mostly. She was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade.

Time flew by, and trouble was sent their way. That trouble sent them years into the future, at least those that survived. Rose seemed to deal with it as well as any other. There was the shock of it of course but she hid feelings in curiosity of how it all came to be. Things started going downhill when she had been told numerous occasions her parents could not be located. Still, she had run into her lifelong friend, Dustin, who was stationed at Starfleet Headquarters. Granted, he was a great deal older than her now, but he was still the same guy she had grown up with.

It wasn’t long after that she met someone she would never have imagined would become a permanent member of the crew. Working with Neo had proved to be interesting and it had kept her from focusing on her sorrows. However, as time went by, it began to go back downhill again and she slipped into a depression that sent her packing back to get help and answers.

When she finally returned a year later, she was given her position back. She returned a much happier person and even got some time to reacquaint herself with the base before the Hannigan returned with the rest of the crew. She felt right back at home among familiar faces and friends when they had returned.

Up to her old tricks again, Rose accidentally sent holograms that took over the base. She had not been managing to make a good impression on much of anyone new to her.

Time went by further, she was promoted to Lieutenant, shortly before another mission out with the Hannigan. She had expressed to some her disliking for the Hannigan as every time she stepped foot in that ship something major had happened that had not been for her benefit. It proved to be the truth as they came upon a race called the Shathar. And how it was proven was for the fact that Milo and Justin were kidnapped. Thanks to friends and herself keeping her mind on getting the situation under control, she managed to keep herself from going off the deep end. Later on, she would take a trip to Earth with Admiral Heero Yuy and Lieutenant Justin Owens to give briefings on the encounter of the Shathar.
