Personality
Scian is somewhat introverted and isolated. Mainly likes to keep to herself and doesn’t go out of her way to socialize with others. She often finds herself pulled into conversations and will openly act and converse with people if they approach her first. She is quiet and likes to keep a step back from things going on around her as if she is surveying or watching things unfold before her as she analyzes them. She likes to spend her time working and finishing problems or reports or her special "writing" project.
She will interact with other people socially if prompted but she mostly prefers to be a "wall-flower" and keep to the back of the crowd. Under pressure she reacts extremely well. Where by her self she is alone and isolated ... in a situation she is mostly preoccupied with helping her companions and mates trying to make sure that their given tasks are done and no one is injured.. If they are she will usually be the one to sit and stay back if necessary with them and provide medical aid.
Further Background Information
Graduated in the top percentile of her class from SFA. She kept to her self, being home schooled had a profound effect on her social skills.Before going to the academy she went on a research trip to trill,On the way from trill to earth she was in a shuttle craft accident.
The pilot died and being by herself with out communications she did what she could to get to the nearest Starbase. Which took her 2 weeks on amercing rations and a dead and decaying body in the shuttle. During the time she hoped someone would find her.. The computer was barely able to even tell her how long she had been out there. She started to Think she was hearing the body talk to her.. Hearing it tell her things that she didn’t want to hear.
When The Starbase tractored the shuttle into the bay doors she could do nothing but cry in ecstatic relief. When they opened the shuttle door she nearly knocked them down trying to get out of there.
Scian went into a deeper state of withdrawal and solitude. For a while she became completely unresponsive to any type of conversation or stimuli. A year and a half went by and finally she started coming out of her room and talking to other people.
This proved to be more difficult then anything she had ever endured in her short lived life. The physical training alone. Almost begged her to quit and give up. She was never one for athletics. The class courses were easier but not by much, She Began developing friendships with a lot of other cadets in the Academy. Most of them Always wanted to be around her even when she wanted to be alone and by her self. She never understood why. She wasn’t by far jovial or giddy or happy with herself. Mostly she would work by her self.
