Metallic Monsters Strike Again
Can move through Time

From a time and place unknown, Gibraltar has been besieged by deadly metallic monsters. The creatures, known as Replicators, somehow arrived on our world which had not long ago survived the deadly ravaged of a Gamma Burst nearly unscathed.
The Bugs, as they are sometimes referred to, have somehow managed to get a foothold once again on our lovely world, which is the headquarters of the Temporal Federation, despite repeated assurances that our Military is the best in the known universe. If ours is truly the best, how is it that these creatures, who were defeated once before, managed to return to Gibraltar without so much as a challenge?
For the second time in the past three months, the spaceport has been leveled with the added bonus of all spacecraft which were housed at the facility being destroyed, Darvin continued. In this reporter's opinion, if our military can't cut it then perhaps we need a shake up in the Planetary Militia.
Darvin's face then replaced the image of the shuttle port. It has been extremely difficult to get any information from any of the government agencies on this current crisis, though it is highly advisable that everyone remain indoors and out of the path of these shimmering invaders. To make the already difficult situation more complex, it is believed these Replicators have somehow added temporal technology to their arsenal making their ultimate defeat extremely problematic.
Standoff Ends
Public Relieved

The standoff between the former Krenim Prisoners of War and the Police was ended a few minutes ago. Witness continue to say that a sole Vulcan is responsible for the end to the drama, while at the same time we have Planetary Security Swat and Hostage teams from New Phoenix City who also came to assist local police.
All the hostages are safe and sound with no casualties.One sergeant reported. They aren't in as good a shape I am afraid. I cannot release their condition until they have been checked by medical.
Everyone is relieved that the worst is over. Now begins the long process of investigation and healing.
Science Convention
It is a big hit!

Now in its fifth day, the week long convention is a big hit. Despite a few minor problems, all was going well. The New Phoenix City Security Police are busy watching for the usual petty criminals that were always drawn to such events. Several heated arguments between booth presenters who, unknowingly or deliberately had duplicated each other's presentations and displays had to be broken up.
The Convention has brought together the best minds from across the Temporal Federation and the exhibits are breathtaking and amazing. Many new discoveries have been reveled as well as a few new technologies, which promise to make every day life for Federation Citizens a lot brighter.
Krenim take Monestary

The Vulcan Monestary in the town of Mount Seleya has been taken over by a roving band of individuals thought to be former Krenim Prisoners of War who were long thought to have dies during the Borg Assimilation some three years ago.
It is not known exactly how many monks are being held inside the monetary nor is it known how heavily armed the Krenim are. The Police in Mount Seleya have reported some weapons missing from their armory, but there is no way to tell if those are the only weapons being used by the perpetrators.
The Krenim have sent a message to the local police demanding a ship and free passage so they can leave Gibraltar without pursuit. They have threatened to kill all hostages unless their demands are met.
Chief James White and a team of highly trained and experienced specialist hostage team from New Phoenix have arrived in Mouny Seleya. The Chief is currently being brought up to date on the situation and it is not know how soon the team will spring into action.
Meanwhile, there are reports of a Vulcan entering the monastery sometime earlier. It is assumed by many that this Vulcan may be trying to single handedly free the hostages, but his purpose is unclear as he made contact with no one before entering monastery. At this time, it is impossible to confirm neither the rumors nor the identity of this mysterious Jedi.
